AUPaint™ follows a structured painting process designed to provide clarity before work begins and consistency throughout the project.
The steps below outline how interior and exterior painting projects are typically carried out.
1 Setup
Interior:
Furniture and movable items are repositioned as needed and protected. Flooring and surrounding areas are covered before work begins.
Exterior:
Exterior surfaces are prepared for painting, which may include power washing or hand washing to remove dirt, debris, or surface build-up.
2 Preparation
Interior:
Cracks, holes, and surface imperfections are filled, sanded, and sealed where required.
Exterior:
Loose paint is removed, glossy areas are scuff-sanded, and existing gaps are re-caulked where necessary to address exposure.
3 Painting
Interior:
Prepared areas are primed as required, followed by the application of appropriate paint systems to achieve an even finish.
Exterior:
Prepared surfaces are primed where needed, and exterior coatings are applied based on surface type and conditions.
4 Clean Up
Work areas are kept orderly during the project.
Upon completion, tools, materials, and protective coverings are removed, and the work area is cleaned.
5 Inspection
A final inspection is completed once painting is finished.
Clients are invited to review the work, and any agreed follow-up is addressed before project close.
